For and by parents,
at the service of well-being and
success of all children

We defend and claim the rights of parents with conviction, in a spirit of collaboration, to improve our school system and better meet the needs of children.

  • The RCPAQ is the voice of French and English-speaking parents from the public school system of their regions.
  • We represent the parents of some 200,000 students, or 20% of all Quebec students, spread over more than half of the province.
  • By supporting and informing parents and parent committees, RCPAQ promotes, values, facilitates and encourages parental involvement in the Quebec school environment, as well as the role of parents in their children’s education.

Services

  • Direct support and assistance service
for parents, by phone and email.

  • Representation to MEQ, government,
school authorities, partners and the media.

  • Training and information: guides, directories,
    tools, videos, conferences and more.

  • Collaborations with organizations,
    research centers and
    education partners.

Guide

We have built into our structure and operations a respect for the different social and cultural contexts and local issues that define our parent committees members.
